WolfVision EYE-12 high resolution live camera
EYE-12 is a high resolution live image camera with Progressive Scan Technology, at 30 frames per second
with housing, lens.
It can be used for medical applications such as telemedicine, as high resolution surveillance, videoconferencing, and for high resolution live image transmissions from room to room (room camera).
Compared to the EYE-10 (which remains in WolfVision's product line as the "basic model") the EYE-12 comes with a number of additional features, such as: USB, LAN- and DVI ports and Power over Ethernet (PoE).
The heart of the EYE-12 is a sensational CCD camera with 1280 x 960 pixels at 30 frames per second.
This is native SXGA- resolution with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The camera also outputs native 720p HD (High Definition) with 1280 x 720 pixels in a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9.
Using a display device with 1280 x 960 (or more) pixels, a resolution of 820 lines is visible. But even when the image is downscaled by the EYE-12 to XGA and output on an XGA display device, the resolution is still around 740 lines.
Picture shows the Eye-10 for illustration only, which looks physically the same, but the Eye-12 has more features.
