| FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Sony SNC-RZ25P video PTZ network camera Sony Ipela SNC-RZ25P MPEG-4/JPEG video network camera, with PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) capability, in a stylish, sleek body, is ideal for webcasting and remote-monitoring applications, almost anywhere, including airports, train stations, factories, supermarkets, street corners in small towns or large sports arenas. Set-up is simple and more cost effective than conventional CCTV systems because the network infrastructure is often already in place or it is rapidly becoming standard for new building construction. Once the network connection is established, images from It has a user-friendly GUI accessible via a PC running the Microsoft® Internet Explorer® browser software. Set-up is very easy with the intuitive icons and pull-down menus. Directly pointing to and clicking on any part of the monitor image in the viewer will pan and tilt the camera so that the selected point is centered. It has a pan range of 340 degrees, tilt range of 120 degrees and an 18x optical zoom, which allows you to locate any position in the viewable area. Can handle very low light conditions and allows you to sellect M-JPEG or MPEG-4 compression format to achieve high-compression allowing smooth moving images to be streamed over a wide range of bandwidths. Equipped with a microphone input, the SNC-RZ25P can be configured with a microphone (optional extra) so that audio, including sound from distant objects, can be monitored at the camera site. Users can send an alert or make an announcement to the audio line output, significantly expanding the possibilities for remote monitoring applications. 'Day/Night' function to provide optimised sensitivity in both day and night environments. As the scene darkens the camera switches to B/W mode, requiring a minimum illumination of less than 0.01 lx. The built-in motion detection function (MPEG-4) enables you to keep easily track of activity on site while not actively monitoring. The camera can be set to automatically store or send pictures when motion is being detected. A built-in expansion slot accepts an optional wireless Compact Flash card (card not included) enabling you to install the SNC-RZ25P in a wireless network to avoid unsightly wires. Important note Please ensure that you have the necessary bandwidth in order to run an IP network camera.
