Sony SNC-DF70P
Sony Ipela SNC-DF70P is a ruggedised day/night network mini-fixed dome camera, which is more discreet than traditional security cameras, making it ideal for surveillance sites where video cameras should be less noticeable such as schools, police stations and discotheque entrances. Its sleek triangular camera design fits smartly into any surveillance site. An optional in-ceiling mounting bracket is available for an even more discrete profile.
Also ideal for hostile environments, the SNC-DF70P, with its heavy-duty enclosure, is designed to perform under extreme conditions where there may be a risk of unwanted violence or industrial areas. Also, anti-theft screws are to prevent any attempts to steal or break the camera.
It has an in-built vari-focal lens to provide optimum coverage over any desired area. It also supports audio from its own built-in microphone or via an external line input.
You can view high quality pictures with network-efficient bandwith, with high frame rates up to 30fps at QVGA resolution via the 1/4 type IT Super HAD CCD sensor. Smart vector motion detection provides more efficient activity detection with reduced risk of false triggers.
The SNC-DF70P comes with a built-in CS mount, auto iris vari-focal lens with a focal length of 3.0 to 8.0 mm to cover a broad range of viewing choices and feature a masked dome cover with a clear slit. The versatile lens compensates the focal length difference between visible light and infrared light. The result is clear and crisp images (the subject remains in focus) when going from visible to infrared light and vice versa.
The SNC-DF70P allows you to select M-JPEG or MPEG-4 compression format to achieve high-compression allowing smooth moving images to be streamed over a wide range of bandwidths.
Equipped with a microphone input, it can be configured with a microphone so that audio, including sound from distant objects, can be monitored at the camera site. Users can send an alert or make an announcement to the audio line output, significantly expanding the possibilities for remote monitoring applications.
Sony ExwaveHAD technology allows the SNC-DF70P to give outstanding performance in monitoring and surveillance applications dealing with very low light conditions. Its 'Day/Night' function to provide optimised sensitivity in both day and night environments. As the scene darkens the camera switches to B/W mode, requiring a minimum illumination of less than 0.01 lx.
Sony SNC-DF series is equipped with an analogue composite video output, allowing camera images to be directly recorded or monitored by connecting video equipment such as time-lapse recorders, hard disk recorders, and monitors.
