SMART Board touch-sensitive (use with finger) interactive whiteboards turn your computer and projector into a powerful interactive tool for teaching and presentations. The whiteboard connects to your PC and digital projector.

With a computer image projected onto the board, you can simply press on its large, touch-sensitive surface to access and control any application. Using a pen from the SMART Pen Tray, you can work naturally at the board to take notes and highlight important information. Whenever you meet, teach, train or present, the SMART Board interactive whiteboard helps your group save time, increase interactivity and improve communication.

SMARTBoard interactive whiteboard range

Front Projection version of the SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard is straightforward to set up. The USB cable attached to the board connects it to your laptop or desktop computer, which is then connected to the projector of your choice. Once all of these elements are in place and turned on, you’re ready to begin.

The large display space can be seen from all over a classroom. The only tool you need is your finger – write, erase and perform mouse functions directly through the touch-sensitive screen. Three buttons on the pen tray give you immediate access to the on-screen keyboard, the right-click and help function.

If, however, you prefer to write and edit notes with digital ink, select from four different pens and the eraser that come with all SMART Board interactive whiteboards. The pens are ready to write in four colours – black, red, blue and green – but you can reset each pen to write in a range of colours and styles using the board’s easy to use software. The pen tray automatically detects which tool you’ve selected. Write over applications, websites and even videos.

Use the standard SMART Board software to capture your work as a screen shot that can be edited, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, or into AutoCAD software. You'll have access to thousands of free images and templates, interactive and educational content and advanced drawing tools. Pre-load your lesson plan to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and make writing on a chalk board during class time a thing of the past.

The board can be either wall mounted or attached to an optional floor stand and adjusted for height. A key advantage of the front projection system is that the board and projector work independently, allowing you to select a projector that works with your budget. The hard-coated surface is durable and compatible with dry-erase markers and is easily cleaned.

The active screen sizes come in three different diagonal widths: 77" (195.6 cm.), 64" (162.6 cm.) and 48" (121.9 cm).

Other features include LinQ software, Start Center, SMART Video Player, SMART Recorder, Floating Tools and Spotlight.

Optional extra: Speakers, mean you or your students can have audio with your lessons.
