With your computer image displayed from behind the screen, you can work naturally without any shadows. Whiteboard includes software.

Rear Projection SMART Board™ 3000i interactive whiteboard is a self-contained unit combining a projector with a high image quality, touch-sensitive screen. The rear projection system means you can’t interrupt the image by moving in between the projector and the screen. The lockable storage cabinet easily holds more than one computer; you can switch between them with the touch of one button. The whole unit can be wheeled around and between classrooms.

There is no need for extra hardware. The only tool you need is your finger – write, erase and perform mouse functions directly through the touch-sensitive screen. Three buttons on the pen tray give you immediate access to the on-screen keyboard, the right-click and help function.

If, however, you prefer to write and edit notes with digital ink, select from four different pens and the eraser that come with all SMART Boards. The pens are ready to write in four colours – black, red, blue and green – but you can reset each pen to write in a range of colours and styles using the board’s easy to use software. The pen tray automatically detects which tool you’ve selected. Write over applications, websites and even videos.

Use the standard SMART Board software to capture your work as a screen shot that can be edited, or save your notes directly into several software applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, or into AutoCAD software. You'll have access to thousands of free images and templates, interactive and educational content and advanced drawing tools.

Pre-load your lesson plan to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and make writing on a chalk board during class time a thing of the past. Other features include LinQ software, Start Center, SMART Video Player, SMART Recorder, Floating Tools and Spotlight.
