Panasonic PT-D10000 multimedia projector
The Panasonic PT-D10000 projector is designed to be installed in large venues such as auditoriums, lecture theatres and large conference rooms. The Panasonic PT-D10000 projector at 35kg is a heavy projector and is ideally ceiling mounted in one location. If you are planning to keep moving the projector between locations, then consider a lighter projector instead.
The brightness of a projector determines how large an image can be displayed on screen and therefore the audience size. Projector brightness is measured in ANSI lumens. The higher the number of ANSI lumens, the brighter the projector is. All our projectors are designed for indoor use and cannot be used in direct sunlight. The Panasonic PT-D10000 has 10000 ANSI lumens which is extremely bright so that images can be projected onto screens which can easily be seen by many hundreds of people.
The Panasonic PT-D10000 projector can be used with video recorders, DVD players, video cameras, satellite systems, TV games consoles and other video sources.
This projector has a lamp life of approximately 2000 hours. Projectors come with a lamp installed but please note that replacement lamps usually cost between £300-£400+VAT for most projectors on the UK market. The lamp life of the Panasonic PT-D10000 projector is around average of most UK projectors, but a few projectors have higher lamp life.
The Panasonic PT-D10000 projector is new and comes with a 2 year manufacturers RTB (Return To Base) warranty, excluding the lamp and excluding accidental damage. RTB means that you will have to send the projector back to the manufacturer for repair and then they will send it back to you repaired.
This projector is supplied with all cables needed to connect to a PC notebook or desktop computer. If you will be using this with an Apple Macintosh computer or UNIX workstation, then you may need to purchase additional cables. This machine is not supplied with video cables. Scart or S-Video cables can be purchased from local electronic goods stores such as Dixons or Curry's for around £10 in the UK.
This projector uses DLP technology.
IMPORTANT NOTE - This projector does not come with a lens fitted. You will also need to purchase a lens to suit your application.
You cannot use a low voltage interface with this model therefore cannot control your projection screen from it.
