OPTI Solar 250

The OPTI Solar 250 is factory fitted with an Osram Xenophot M33 250 watt, 1,200 lumen quartz halogen lamp with an average life of 300 hours.

An 800 lumen 2,000 hour lamp is also available as well as a Light Guard to prevent downward light spill. K range Mirrors can be fitted to the OPTI Solar 250 using K Mirror mounting brackets. All optional extras.

The standard white OPTI Solar 250 (left hand picture) is shown projecting a 50mm Cassette mounted on a Solar 250 Cassette Rotator (right) and 6" Effect Wheel (left). The black OPTI Solar 250 (FG2020), (centre picture) available to special order, is shown projecting a 50mm Cassette on a Solar 250 50mm Cassette Rotator. The white OPTI Solar 250, is shown on the right, with the wheel rotator and effects wheel, sold separately.

The OPTI Solar 250 (FG2020) has been in production since 1973. Over 70,000 Solar 250 units have been made, with countless accessories and effects, most of which are still in use around the world. Minor changes have been made to the simple classic design but it still has ease of use, robust engineering and a wide range of effects accessories and lenses.
