Elektor-Rope LED per 1m

Elektor-Rope slim flexible LED lighting is available in lengths from 1m to 146 metres and sold per 1m in single colours. It is a highly versatile surface mounted clear strip of encapsulated mini LEDs and ideal for decorative pillars or cornices in bars, restaurants, hotel lounges and architectural applications. 5mm x 8mm.

Operating on just 24V and utilising as little as 0.12W per metre, the slim profile Elektor-Rope provides a low power, low heat, low voltage solution for numerous decorative lighting applications. Ultra-slim, and just 5 mm high Elektor-Rope is as
flexible as cable and will bend through 180°.

Elektor-Rope is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use with all high power LEDs protect-sealed in a clear, tough, weatherproof PVC jacket the system is safe, easy to install and very nearly maintenance free.

Featuring long-life, up to 100,000 hours for colours and up to 50,000 hours for white, high-brightness 3mm SMD LEDs, Elektor-Rope is available in a selection of cleanly saturated colours, along with choice of LED spacing that govern light intensity.

Each LED has a light-spread of 150°, making Elektor-Rope an ideal product for architectural contour following, for providing edge illumination for back lighting, walkway lighting or for illuminating any difficult-to-light area.

Elektor-Rope SMD is easy to cut, bend and install on site. Lengths are cut using evenly spaced cutting marks along the rope length which also serve to ensure that you cannot cut through the pcb. With additional accessories, Elektor-Rope can be utilised for numerous applications in back lighting, pave lighting, shelf/feature delineation and stair and aisle illumination.

Please note For every length of Elektor-Rope you will need you will need the following accessories: ELR-SLIM-INPUT x 1
ELR-SLIM-EC x 1. Clips or channelling are used to either bend the rope or keep it straight so depending on the project calculate accordingly. ELR-SLIM-CLIP = We recommend 4 per metre. ELR-SLIM-CH = Channel comes in lengths of 6ft so is determined by quantity of rope light. Our sales staff will be pleased to help you add the correct accessories according to your project.

You will only require the ELR-SLIM-SPLICE if you are connecting two pieces of rope light together e.g if you require a length of 2m but we only have 2 x 1m lengths you would use the splicing kit to join them and make 2m.

You will also need a power unit.

Power supply units

You will need a power supply unit (PSU) with Elektor-Rope

50 Watt 24V DC switch mode power supply unit (SWS50W24) can run 50m of red or amber rope, or 16m of white, blue or green
75 Watt 24V DC switch mode power supply unit (SWS75W24) can run 75m of red or amber rope, or 25m of white, blue or green
100 Watt 24V DC switch mode power supply unit (SWS100W24) can run 100m of red or amber rope, or 33m of white, blue or green
150 Watt 24V DC switch mode power supply unit (SWS150W24) can run 150m of red or amber rope, or 50m of white, blue or green

Please note that the maximum run in one length is 40m, if you require longer lengths than you can run them off of the same power supply but they have to be separate.

300 watt and 600 watt power supply units are available, (SWS300W24) (SWS600W24), but please note if you do use a 600 Watt PSU you MUST split the load and MUST FUSE each section.

Other power supply units are available:

24V - 12 watt switch mode psu (SLS/PS/24/12) which runs 4m of white, blue or green
24V - 24 watt switch mode psu (SLS/PS/24/24) which runs 24m of red or amber rope, or 8m of white, blue or green
24V - 185 watt switch mode psu (SLS/24/225) which runs 61m of white, blue or green.

Please bear in mind 40m run is max you can run off a psu, if you require longer lengths than you can run them off of the same power supply but they have to be separate.
