Moticam accessories range
To make Moticams more flexbile, several accessories are provided either as standard or optional (at extra cost). Together with these accessories, any current microscope can be turned into a digital microscope. Please check the specification of the Moticam you intend to purchase, as to whether the accessory is supplied or is additional.
Certified callibration slides: because accurate quantification of digital microscopy images is based on acurate measuring results, a Certified Motic Callibration slide is used together with the application software. One calibrated, your Moticam and your computer will provide you with reliable results throughout your research
Focusable lens: this allows the camera to be used together with the macro tube or the gooseneck or Macro applications. This lens allows the camera to be mounted directly onto your microscopes eyepiece with one of the four adaptors provideed. One correctly sized lens is included in the package.
Eyepiece adapters - four sizes provied 28mm, 30mm, 34mm, 35mm
Macro viewing tube - clear tube mounts onto the focusable lens and provides a solid platform for viewing macro objects such as insects or rocks
Flexible gooseneck with solid stand - optional gooseneck holds the Moticam in place at any position
Biological and stereo B&S eyetube adapter: allows the camea to be mounted directly into the microscopes eyetube. Useful for use with microscopes with over sized eyepieces.
USB2.0 PCI card: provided in the package with Moticam 1000 and Moticam 2000, this PCI card can be installed into desktop PCs that are not equipped with a built-in high speeed USB2.0 interface
IEEE1394 PCI card: provided inthe package with Moticam 3000 and Moticam 5000, this PCI card can be installed into desktop PCs that are not equipped with a built-in IEEE1394 interface
Moticam carrying case: ideal for storing or transporting your Moticam; available in different sizes for different cameras.
Motic Images Plus 2.0 ML software
Every digital Moticam comes complete with full featured professional application software. This software lets you truly explore the power of your microscope by enabling you to correctly analyze and quantify your image. The generous features include, but are not limited to, the following:
Capture: Capture real time still, moving or time-lapse images with the simple click of your mouse
Measure and export: Once you have calibrated the system using our supplied calibration slide, you can make accurate measurements of your sample. All your measurements can be exported to other worksheets such as Excel by clicking only one button.
Share through Internet: The built in Distance Image Sharing (DIS) module allows you to connect to another digital microscope through the internet. Based on teleconferencing principles, you can broadcast your microscope's live streaming video over the internet while viewing the other party's stream.
Combine and group: Motic's Amalgamation feature allows you to combine different images into one single picture. Several heuristics are available giving the user complete control. This feature is especially useful when combining images taken at different focal depths.
Enhance: Process the image with a variety of filters, or adjust brightness contrast and colour. You can also add narration, sounds or music to each image.
Record sound directly: Using this tool, each image can be enhanced with sound on a particular spot on the image. This is great for creating learning slides or completing group projects.
Multi Languages: This software allows the user to select between different languages. Available: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Arabic, Chinese.
Count and export: This feature automatically counts the objects selected in a particular area of view. All details of the dimensions can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet through the simple click of the mouse.
Create reports: Create detailed reports on your findings in the same application program. Simply drag and drop images from your microscope into your document. This is an easy way to create examination papers, findings and reports.
Please note You can use the Motic Images Advanced 3.2 software as an optional extra for professional users.
