Motic DS-300 Digiscope
DS-300 microscope is designed for field or classroom and has a digital camera, so that images can be captured for use in curriculum work.
Motic DS-300 microscope kit is a good way to introduce school children to the world of microscopy. With a magnification range of 20-100 times the microscope is suitable for viewing both small objects such as flowers and prepared slides. Attach the included Motic 300 digital camera and connect to your PC and the images can be viewed on your PC screen in full colour.
The DS-300 kit includes the intuitive 'Motic Play' software allowing the young user to save, send, modify and share images.
A powerful LED lighting system operates up to 50 hours on 3 x AA batteries giving illumination from above or below the specimen with adjustable intensity.
Motic Play software (included with DS-300) is imaging software designed for children using the digiscope. It uses pictures and sounds to help children capture and edit still images and videos and has many other powerful features. Images can be measured, text and effects added, e-mailed and printed. The software includes a step by step picture help section that covers all of the functions.
With the camera removed it can be used as a standard microscope to view prepared slides or, with the easily convertible stage, be used to view pond water creatures.
