| FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Mitsubishi HC5000 widescreen projector The Mitsubishi HC5000 projector at 5.6kg is not light but still portable enough to be transported between locations. Silver. The brightness of a projector determines how large an image can be displayed on screen and therefore the audience size. Projector brightness is measured in ANSI lumens. The higher the number of ANSI lumens, the brighter the projector is. All our projectors are designed for indoor use and cannot be used in direct sunlight. The Mitsubishi HC5000 has 1000 ANSI lumens which is adequate for use for audiences up to 15 people but you may need to dim the lights or draw the blinds/curtains. The Mitsubishi HC5000 projector can be used with video recorders, DVD players, video cameras, satellite systems, TV games consoles and other video sources. This projector has built-in sound but this gives limited volume. If high quality or high volume sound is required then consider connecting to an amplifier or surround sound system (home cinema or professional). Computer sound can be played through the existing computer speakers which is normally adequate for computer presentations in small rooms. This projector has a lamp life of approximately 2000 hours. Projectors come with a lamp installed but please note that replacement lamps usually cost between £300-£400+VAT for most projectors on the UK market. The lamp life of the Mitsubishi HC5000 projector is around average of most UK projectors, but a few projectors have higher lamp life. The Mitsubishi HC5000 projector is new and comes with a 2 year manufacturers RTB (Return To Base) warranty, excluding the lamp and excluding accidental damage. RTB means that you will have to send the projector back to the manufacturer for repair and then they will send it back to you repaired. This projector is supplied with all cables needed to connect to a PC notebook or desktop computer. If you will be using this with an Apple Macintosh computer or UNIX workstation, then you may need to purchase additional cables. This machine is not supplied with video cables. Scart or S-Video cables can be purchased from local electronic goods stores such as Dixons or Curry's for around £10 in the UK. This projector uses LCD technology. |
