Interactive tablets/slates

Interactive wireless tablets, usually A5 size, enable you to pass the tablet to individual members of the group session, so they can take control of the computer without leaving their seat. Normally only one user can draw or write on the screen at any one time, but there are models that allow more than one tablet to be used at anyone time.

As each person writes or draws on the tablet, the annotations can be seen on the interactive whiteboard, which is normally at the front of the room. Wireless tablets are great for teachers and presenters who like to move around the room, so that you can stop and talk to someone and explain ideas further, with either them or the teacher annotating, whilst the rest of the class or audience views changes on the large whiteboard.

Tablets for preparation work, which normally plug into your computer via USB, allow you to prepare work away from the interactive whiteboard, using its software on your computer.

How to order from Independent Products

Payment options: bank transfer, cheque, debit card, credit card, 14 and 30 day credit accounts (see below). We do not charge a credit card surcharge.

Independent Products only deliver to the UK mainland. To place an order, please fax your purchase order to 01754 898910, including your invoice/delivery address, goods, delivery charge, total including VAT and method of payment. We are unable to take telephone orders.

If you are an educational establishment, government establishment, large registered charity or blue chip company and wish to pay by 14 or 30 day account please fax your official purchase order.

Please note that Independent Products only supply equipment to businesses, government bodies, educational establishments and registered charities. We do not sell to private individuals.

Please do not book installation of equipment before goods have arrived and have been fully tested. We accept no liability for installation or other cost occurred in the case of late delivery. Courier delays, manufacturer supply problems, etc, are beyond our responsible control.
