The small, lightweight, and comfortable pen includes left-click, right-click, and a special button for accessing the innovative on-screen tool palettes.

A circular interface tool palette can float across the whiteboard to provide all the tools for EzBoard software that you need most. These revolutionary tool palettes customize themselves to whatever you are doing on your computer, whether navigating programs, annotating software applications, or presenting dynamic PowerPoint® presentations. A dedicated button on the stylus (pen) allows you to snap the palette to wherever you need it or hide it when you don't.

The Ezboard surface is Semi-Matt Vitreous Enamel for reduced reflection and glare, the board is designed so it can still be used with standard dry wipe pens during traditional sessions, and its magnetic too. The EzBoard range has three sizes of board, 60-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch with an optional extra mobile trolley.

Ezboard is suitable for both educational, business and corporate use, as the included software allows work to be saved as PowerPoint presentations which most schools and businesses use everyday, and a facility to share information and interact real-time over the Internet using a free service.

Interact software

The client software, Interact, that comes with EzBoard, is the result of years of experience in the IT market, months of research on computer interfaces, and a whole lot of creativity. The one-of-a-kind circular tool palettes provide quick access to the central features of the software and will tailor themselves to whatever application you are working on. They can be controlled with the click of a button on the Interactive Stylus, so no matter where you may be drawing on your 100+ inch display area, the Interact palettes are always right where you need them. This unparalleled flexibility means that your audience will be focused on what you're writing, not on what you're reaching for.

Software - importing and saving in PowerPoint, etc

The software features Scrapbook which is a multi-media organizer for gathering, preparing, presenting, and sharing your content. You can import Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files. Add JPEGS and BITMAPS as background images, mix handwritten notes with text boxes or image objects. Take a screen shot of your whole screen or just a snapshot of particular portion. Whatever you bring into Scrapbook can be shared live over the Internet in real-time or saved in one of 10 popular formats including PowerPoint.

Interacting over the Internet to share work real-time

One of the first lessons that we learn in life is that it is nice to share with others. EzBoard allows you to import and share an entire PowerPoint presentation with 25 colleagues using simply Scrapbook software and an Internet connection. EzBoard includes these content sharing and collaboration features along with free access to the eBeam Meeting Server, so you don't need to subscribe to a paid service that might not get used often enough to be worth it. This means that colleagues around the globe can download the free Interact software from this website and join your meeting right from the eBeam Meeting Server. Whether they have a Mac or a PC, they will see what's happening on your whiteboard in real-time and can add their own images and annotations. Sharing keeps everyone on the same page whether they are two offices away or two time zones. In education this is useful for teachers working away from school who need to be involved in decision making and for neighbouring schools to share lessons.

An optional IP network camera situated on or near each whiteboard will allow the whiteboard users participating in the eBeam Meeting Server, to see the presenter/tutor and the addition of an optional pair of speakers and a microphone (some IP cameras have audio facility with built-in microphones), will bring sound into your interactive sessions.

Interact toolbar

Interact software features a PowerPoint-specific toolbar that allows you to navigate your existing slide shows with ease and annotate them on the fly. Use the page icons on the wheel palette to move back and forth effortlessly through your presentation while standing in front of your audience, not while stuck behind a computer screen. The palette also offers pen and highlighter tools along with shapes and arrows that you can add to your slides and then save back to the .PPT file. The Interact PowerPoint toolbar is a great way to add new life to your tried and true presentations.
