FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DPM110 10 zone paging microphone
Communication Technology DPM110 is a multi-zone self-cancelling paging point (microphone console) which is operated exclusively with the ZRU010 (sold separately) relay interface and central logic processor, accessing up to 10 zones. Systems can be cascaded to increase the zoning capacity.
Picture shows the DPM105 and DPM100 zone paging systems for illustration only (series includes five zone, ten zone paging, ZRU010 zone switcher, EXT122 system expander and ZRU-PSU24V power supply for the ZRU010.
Please note a Planning and Installation Manual is available, in advance of product purchase, to aid in system design.
DPM Series Multi-zone Paging Systems
Whilst most system designers will switch zones of loudspeakers, this system is sufficiently versatile to also operate between pre-amplifiers, 600 Ohms signal sources or with individual zone amplifiers.
Each paging point (microphone console) incorporates a line pre-amplifier and in-built pre-announcement 'gong'. Zone commands from paging point to ZRU010 are simply expressed as a change of DC level; no microprocessors are included, no skilled programming is therefore necessary.
Operation of the Press-To-Talk button activates the zone relays; after release, (on completion of the page) zone relays are automatically de-energised and the system is returned to its normal state. Importantly the operator does not have to remember to cancel the selected zone(s).
Up to four paging points (microphone consoles) can be connected to the system. In systems with more than one paging point, if the system is occupied, the Press-To-Talk LED will continuously flash to indicate the system is in use. (Upgrade to accommodate up to 8 paging points: EXT122).
Zone pre-selection is still possible whilst queuing for system access and once the system is released any other microphone can enter the system with their pre-selected zone choice.
Provision is made to connect a dedicated music amplifier and a separate paging amplifier. When a system is configured this way, paging into individual zones will not disturb the distribution of music to others. Full music and/or paging 'lock out' options are provided on all zones. The zone switching relays may also be used to route music and paging commands to separate zone amplifier inputs, operating at line level.
Features of the DPM105/DPM110
Fully automatic All-Call
Pre-selection of zones prior to paging, self cancelling after use
Whilst waiting for paging access to the system, users can pre-select their zones to be paged
One paging point can be designated to have overall priority in the system
Up to four paging points can comprise a multi-zone system
System access can be made through host amplifier input 'gates', priority 24V operation of loudspeaer zone relays, or to individual zone or to individual zone amplifiers, fed at 600 Ohm line level,
0dBm, allowing use of low cost 'ungated' amplifiers
