Bretford LAP16EPM 16 laptop charger
Bretford laptop charger stores and recharges up to 16 laptop computers - stored vertically. The LAP16EPM features separate self compartments to house the laptops power pack. This provides thermal (heat) separation between the mains powered supply unit and the laptops internal battery.
Picture for illustration only, does not include equipment.
The 16 capacity model comes with a hinged rear access panel for quick and easy set up configuration, providing unrestricted access to cables and fuses. Laptops are charged in groups of 4, each grouping individually fused with a diagnostic indicator (fuse fail). Lockable rear panel to minimise unauthorised access to electrical components.
The unit allows you to charge a number of laptops at one time from a single electrical socket. The cabinet can easily be moved between rooms allowing laptop charges to be shared amongst students and then returned to a secure central storage location providing easy access to recharged laptops. Ideal for schools, colleges, universities and training environments.
The unit offers a more reliable recharge facility with the introduction of the intelligent Electronic Power Management System (EPM system), which allows the user to turn the whole unit on at once without the risk and inconvenience of blowing a fuse from the mains supply. This unique EPM system also protects your valuable laptops from in-coming power surges.
The top shelf features a non slip rubber mat and a 4 way power board which is linked into the EPM system for use with additional equipment such as printer, computer, or wireless access station.
Green and red LEDs provide visual indication that the unit is functioning correctly or that a fault has been detected.
Safety features: The whole cabinet is earthed and surge protected to protect the user and laptops. Fully tested and certified.
The cabinet is fitted with 4 large 127mm castors to provide easy manoeuvrability, 2 castors have locking facility for stability when stationary.
All new LAP models come complete with unique integrated Y-leads, which dispenses with the standard 13amp connection lead provided by the laptop manufacturer. This reduces the amount of excess cable and minimises set up configuration times. The doble ended, moulded lead is compatible with figure of eight and cloverleaf connections, so flexible to use with multiple brands of laptops.
