| FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AViLYnX view station kit View station kit comprises composite video/audio decoder, with an IR detector module and the AViLYnX IR remote control. AV signal is routed via the server (sold separately) matrix and fed to the decoder via a standard RJ45 connection. The decoder then converts the signal back to its original video and stereo composite and is fed to the viewing port via a SCART/RCA connector. Every TV connected to the outputs of the server matrix will need a viewing station kit, comprising of a view station adaptor, 2 metre CAT5e patch lead, short male to female scart lead and an AVi Lynx remote control (batteries included). Connection between the server matrix and view station adapter is made via CAT5e cable using RJ45 connectors up to 200 metres of CAT5e can be used between each view station and the server matrix. The stylised AVi LYnX remote control is used to access and control each of the AV sources, activate the parental control functions and can even be used as a remote control for the TV in each room. Coupled with current trend of decluttering of electrical equipment such as DVDs, Satellite receivers, video players, etc., it is clear that something more than the traditional coax based distribution system is needed.
