Soundfield amp speaker mic systems

Soundfield is a term used within education to describe a sound system that normally comprises amplifier, speakers, or all-in-one unit, and microphones, normally wireless.

Sound and voice reinforcement for classrooms reduces teacher vocal strain and encourages calmer classrooms as children can hear well.

In schools and colleges, Section 1 of Building Bulletin 93, the Governments Specification of Acoustic Performance sets the standards for the acoustics of new buildings and explains the requirements and solutions to... provide acoustic conditions in schools that facilitate clear communications of speech between teachers and students. The key aim of a (speech reinforcement) system is to increase the loudness of the direct sound, particularly for more distant listeners, whilst keeping sound as natural as possible. The distribution of loudspeakers and their directional characteristics is a key issue in achieving high speech intelligibility. For large teaching rooms and lecture theatres, loudspeakers can be distributed in the ceiling.

Independent Products only deliver to the UK mainland. To place an order then please fax your purchase order to 01754 898910, including your invoice/delivery address, goods, delivery charge, total including VAT and method of payment. We are unable to take telephone orders.

If you are an educational establishment, government establishment, large registered charity or blue chip company and wish to pay by 14 or 30 day account please fax your official purchase order.
